I reserve Thursday night for my book club. My friend’s problems didn’t stop there. One of the horse’s offspring, who adored her mother, had equine depression because of the older horse’s condition. Nancy was overwhelmed for a while. If your horse couldn’t walk, what would you do? I have so many acquaintances and most of them have become special friends. Nancy is a good friend of mine. Nancy has been going through an ordeal, with her horses, lately. Nancy’s first horse, now old and suffering from a failing health It was difficult for her to get up. Nothing would interest her. She missed many social activities while trying to help her horses. Nancy’s veterinarian told Nancy that there was nothing he could do for her horses. He recommended a place called Midwest Microcurrent. It was a three hour drive but it might be the only place where she can seek help. I called to check on Nancy that evening and she asked me to go to Midwest Microcurrent’s website and tell her what I thought of it. The web site looked informative to me and so I told Nancy that she had nothing to lose if she try.

The website made it seem like their Alpha-Stim machine was a miracle worker. People and animals can use it. Attach the wires here and there and that’s it. The machine emits some micro electrical currents and different wavelengths along the wires to a location on the horse’s body which will benefit the most. Some wires are attached to the ears using a clip. Others are attached by a sticky pad with electrodes in them, stuck to the shaved area on the body, where it’s needed most. Another option to use the machine is to use probes and position them against the body. By performing this, these electrical impulses are directed to the parts of the body that needs a balance in its electrical system. The horses will be put in a relaxed mode. The machine alleviates horse depression, old age, OCD, insomnia, arthritis, surgical incisions, open wounds, pain and other illnesses.

The following day Nancy and her husband loaded the horses and off they went. Later that night, they came back with the machine and the two horses looked better already. At home, they use the cranial electrotherapy on the horses and so far, the horses’ condition improved. When I was a little girl, I loved horses. I guess that’s the end of my dreams of winning competitions. We lived in a small ranch and horses just run around in our place. For our regular exercise, we went to the trails near our ranch; that’s after I saddle trained him, of course. My horse, Bailey, slipped and fell hard on his front knees while we were walking on the trail. He fell hard on a jagged rock and his knee suffered a big cut. She said that Bailey’s horse joint pain is curable and she’ll make sure that Bailey will be cared for. She told me she often helps when an equine can’t walk and has equine paralysis. Bailey had a massage treatment at the Animal Fitness Center and the physical therapy was something my parents and I could do at home. We brought Bailey in for the treatments, for pet pain, we couldn’t do at home and before we knew it he needed fewer and fewer treatments. Bailey has been walking limp free for six months now; he’s still on therapy and we visit the Animal Fitness Center from time to time.
