The Flexible and Durable Penn 209 Fishing Reel

The retro look of the Penn 209 Fishing Reel is why most anglers buy them in the first place. The reel isn’t anything too fancy and features just practically the basics with an old world feel. Considering the fairly low price, however, the Penn 209 Fishing Reel does deliver more than is expected in terms of reliability and durabiliy. I use my reel primarily for salmon fishing throughout the summer months; however, the Penn 209 Fishing Reel makes a great freshwater striper reel and is also particularly suited for trolling. In fact, I often match the reel with one of the excellent products under the Depthmaster Trolling Series Rods. It is a fairly basic reel that is redeemed by its durability. In fact, my Penn 209 Fishing Reel has outlasted newer and more highly technical models.

The Mr Squiggles Hamster vs a Real Hamster

Even though a lot of parents think that the Mr Squiggles hamster is expensive, he really isn’t that much more than a regular hamster. Although the real hamster itself is only between $5 and $10, you have to buy it food, a cage, a water bottle, and shavings to put on the bottom of the cage. Then you have to keep buying the food. But if you buy a mr squiggles hamster, all you have to do is keep his batteries charged. So although you pay more up front, you are going to save money in the long run by choosing mr squiggles over a real hamster.

What Is Horse Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation And How Can It Help Your Pet

One of my favorite TV shows is called Stargate and I must admit I really do enjoy it. The basic premise of the show is that aliens seeded the earth and use humans as hosts to live inside of. Resembling snakes they are a highly advanced alien race which inhabits the bodies of humanoids while controlling their mind. A friendly alien is dying in one episode because it was removed from its host. They replicate the environment inside to host but it continued dying. Finally, just as it seems that all hope is lost, one of the doctors is reminded that a human being has a small electrical current going through the body continuously; kind of like a built in perpetual microcurrent therapy. When the doctors placed a tiny electric charge in the alien’s artificial environment it gradually came back to life. Pet Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation

Electrotherapy, or, microcurrent therapy has been used for at least two thousand years. In fact, a Roman Doctor named Scribonius Largus in 46 AD recommended to his patients that they should stand on top of a live torpedo fish to help cure such things as gout and headaches. These kinds of fish give off a powerful electric shock to disable their prey. In the second century a physician named Claudius Galen also recommended the electric fish as an appropriate medical therapy.

Low intensity CES has been used for centuries all over the world to fight every thing from depression to anxiety; headaches and many other disorders including back aches and spinal injuries. Why shouldn’t our pets benefit from this science with so much history and research and success with microcurrent therapy?

I came across a website when I was researching a problem I was having with my cat. Ava Frick, when using CES on household pets, is seeing enormous results. She is witnessing anxiety, pain, depression, and countless other problems plaguing the animals we adore and love fade away by properly using and implementing the tools of microcurrent therapy. She’s an impressive expert in the areas of animal and pet pain, depression and anxiety.

I know that some of you may be thinking of that device that my mother-in-law purchased in order to stop her dog from barking. It was a device that went around his neck and whenever he barked the collar would emit an enormous electric shock that would terrify the dog into submission. That is not what I’m talking about when writing about microcurrent therapy. I really must make that point crystal clear. In my opinion that kind of electric shock therapy should be outlawed and is torturous. Microcurrent therapy is designed to relieve pain and suffering and provide happiness and joy to your beloved animals. Don’t allow yourselves to be tricked by what the two devices seem to have in common. There really is not much in common. Ava Frick uses state of the art technology ensure your animal is in the best environment to enable healing and relief in a highly controlled environment. Animal Chiropractic

The Horse Was Obviously Abused and Suffering from Equine Depression

It really was a sad story. The owner couldn’t figure out why the horse was so depressed but it sure was. They came in with a large, beautiful horse which had more years behind it than it had ahead of it. They didn’t want to see it spend its final years suffering with equine depression because they loved the horse. They lived on a nice big farm with lots of space for the horses to run. For the life of a horse it really is an idyllic setting. This made the whole depression scenario all the more perplexing to comprehend. The horse was living on a proverbial retirement home for horses and it was suffering from equine depression? It didn’t make any sense. Pet Depression

I probed the owners a little by asking some important questions. They had an old silo on the farm, it turned out. The silo was alongside a path that led to the field where the kids like to ride the horses. When I asked what was in the silo the reason for the equine depression became clearer. The silo was being used as storage for animals that, for whatever reason, died on the farm. The horse would hesitate and then bolt past the silo and into the meadow, the owners explained, as the kids forced the big horse up to and past the silo. The kids would do this repeatedly as they loved the speed that the horse would reach.

They didn’t realize that the horse was running so fast because it was so scared. They really had no idea the horse was suffering abuse. When we explained that this was likely the reason for the equine depression they were horrified. They apologized profusely and offered to accommodate any lifestyle correction we would offer. After offering a few suggestions we spent a great deal of time and effort making corrections in the horse for animal depression using the therapies that we have here. They were very grateful and so were we. Animal Chiropractic
